Good Girl vs Bad Girl

I had coffee with two male friends yesterday and what I thought was a dying complex- The good girl vs bad girl complex. You know, what Steve Harvey refers to as the "throw back fish" or the "piip piip" girl. The "piip piip" girls are bad girls, because they open the doors on the car themselves, immedeatly after the man has unlocked it (therof the "piip" sound, apparently, you are not only supposed to lack an intellect, but you are also expected to lack motor skills).

How can this be that my two male friends were actively propagating for this phenomenon? They motivated this with saying that "good girls" are put on a pedistal..I told them, the my suspicion is that pedistal don't give much room for movement, a slight move, and you will fall. Good girls are denied certain rights as to be able to define and transform themselves. Bad girls are shunned because they take these rights.

The discussion really let me down. I thought we were over this.
